How is the course delivered?
The course is delivered through Teachable, an online learning platform where we have uploaded and organized all the necessary content for the course. Once you purchase the course, you will be given full access to Cantor Macro’s Teachable platform where you will be able to access all the lessons, training material and supporting files (Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, data files, etc.).
A typical lesson contains a video recording where I present the content of the lesson and show you real-life examples to support the presentation, using the tools used by professional investors (Bloomberg Terminal) as well as other softwares that I recommend to use as a retail investor (Tradingview), usually offering free subscriptions or affordable membership options.
How long is the course?
The course contains over 200+ lessons, each taking from 5min up to 30min to complete. Most lessons contain an additional optional section (“The expert corner”) giving you additional insights and details about the content of the lesson. These additions are optional and not required to follow the course thoroughly, but we suggest to get into it after you have completed the regular track of the course.
Overall, we expect the completion of the full course to require a minimum of 50 hours, not including additional hours of personnal research and training that you might want to do to complement your learning journey.
Is it really a course for beginners only?
Our goal was to create the most comprehensive course on investing available online, and suitable for a 2025 investor. Most course online do not cover topics that we think are important (such as crypto – either because authors dismiss it, judging it too speculative, or otherwise designing an entire course on crypto only, ignoring the crucial question of what place it should have within a wider portfolio of investments).
In this course, we start the journey assuming you do not know anything about markets, brokers, stocks, or any other element. This allows us to not only cover the entire spectrum of investing by leaving no stone unturned, but this is also the cornerstone approach of our investment phylosophy: we do not touch what we do not understand. And to understand fully, we want and need to start simple, and add complexity progressively. This is how the course is designed.
While we start every section with simple explanations, we progressively go into deep details and intricacies of how financial markets work, as we want to ensure that you truly understand the entirety of what makes a potential investment a good one, and help you build that confidence over time.
